How Alter was formed

The company grew out of a portfolio real estate investment practice in Kharkiv, where private investors recognised the commercial potential of historic buildings — not in demolition, but in restoration and revitalisation, creating added value through this approach.

As the number of such projects increased, the demand for a systematic development service became clear. In 2021, Alter Development was established as a development platform combining financial analysis, conceptual thinking, and long-term vision.

Initially focused exclusively on Kharkiv, the company is now gradually expanding its geographic scope.
