In October, after an appeal from Pavlo Zakharov, a resident of the building at 1 Chychybabina Street, craftsmen began the restoration of the first set of doors.
The money was collected jointly. Sixty percent of the required amount was paid by the organization Alter Development, which works on the restoration and revitalization of historic buildings. For example, they are transforming the abandoned Rosenfeld income house on Bazhanova Street, which had stood in a miserable condition for many years, into an office center.
They are also restoring the historic Yakovlev Printing House building on Koneva Street, which in the future is planned to become a center of cultural life (on January 15, the first lisi4ka_party event organized by "Liuk" was held there).
"Thanks to the help of a patron, we were able to send the doors to the workshop right away," emphasizes Sandra. "It’s great that a company engaged in restoration and renovation donates to door projects."
